«The key to achieving a high collective intelligence quotient is social harmony».
-Daniel Goleman-
Emotional intelligence is the ability to take into account one’s environment as a whole and to react in an appropriate manner according to the stimuli received.
The stimulus being understood as a set of causes aimed at provoking a known reaction.
It is reflected in particular by the ability to perceive one’s own emotions, to decode them to facilitate thought and dialogue with others.
If each one understands his emotions and dialogues with the others in this understanding, the man will be able to reach a form of social harmony where the debate can go beyond the stage of the winner and the loser.
The 3 keys to emotional intelligence
They are based on the individual ability to listen, locate and transpose.
1- Listening : listening to oneself, inner silence makes it possible to identify in oneself what one feels in the face of a situation. It is the access to our emotions.
2- Tracking : something hangs in our body, the heart beats faster, the breath is short, pain in the stomach, in the back or somewhere wakes up. The body is on alert.
Spotting this sign in our body allows us to identify that an emotion is manifesting.
3- Transposition : transposing this feeling into its context allows me to identify what touches me in the situation. Transposition allows you to act in conscience, by integrating your emotions into your daily life without being overwhelmed.
